OVERVIEW Mindmill writes software, which has multi-lingual support in the following areas: 1. Label Display PROCEDURE FOR IMPLEMENTATION During development identifiers refer to all strings. The mapping between the identifiers and the strings in kept in an external file. A connection between the identifiers and the strings is made at run time. Initially all strings are in English but these can be changed to Japanese at any time and the software will start showing the strings in Japanese language. All input is done in data structures, which support Unicode and double byte characters. Storage is done in standard RDBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL which support double byte characters Printing is done using standard printing commands and these support multi-lingual output.
