BankMill™ - MindTouch is a touch screen kiosk provided at various physical sites on the bank premises and at remote sites. A customer can log in at the kiosk and access information about his account.

PURPOSE

BankMill™ - MindTouch is yet another delivery channel for the bank.

This product becomes an extension of the banks services where a customer can access his account, inquire his balances, pay utility bills with whom the bank has a relationship through the bank’s payment gateways and otherwise such as power, telephone, Insurance, and School fees. It also enables the customers to take printouts without need for any interaction with any branch official.

The bank builds upon its techno savvy image, saves money by reducing operation costs for potential customer query handling by bank employees and helps customers be in control of his account without queues access at a time convenient to him.

FUNCTIONALITY

Funds Transfer - The funds transfer facility allows you, to transfer funds from one account to another.

New FD/RD Request - Submit your request online for a Fixed Deposit or a Recurring Deposit, which will be stored with the bank. The bank will process the request and you can know the status of your request by contacting your branch.

Bill payment - Available to all customers who are registered for Online Banking. Through epay customers can receive, review and pay their bills online. epay is based on EBPP (Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment).

Demand Draft/Pay Order - Submit your request online for a Demand Draft, which will be stored with the bank.

Pay Order Request - Submit your request online for a Pay Order, which will be stored with the bank.

Account Details - View the details of your Account online.

TDS Inquiry - View your Tax Deducted at Source details for your Accounts.

Pending Request - View the requests which you have made and are still pending to be processed; you can also cancel a request made earlier.

Cheque Book Request - Submit your request online for a Cheque Book. Your bank will process the request and you can collect your Cheque Book either from your branch personally or through Courier at your registered address with the Bank.

Account Summary - View the summary of balance in your account, click on A/c Details to view details of your highlighted account.

Account Details - View the detailed description of your account, based on three criteria month range, date range, and all the transactions. One can also take printouts for the details.

Standing Instructions - Submit your Standing Instructions online.

TECHNOLOGY

The structure is a 3 tier structure and consists of a front end application written in VC++. Data interchange happens via encrypted data structures.

The software uses ISO 8583 messaging system for transaction processing.

The backend software has been written in Java and can work with any standard RDBMS such as MS SQL, and Oracle.
